Someone at your end, named in advance. We provide the schedule and remain available for problems, but a tree in a commercial space needs one accountable person rather than a shared assumption.

How often should I water a rented avocado tree?
Water deeply, then wait until the top of the growing medium is dry to the touch. That means more often in peak summer and much less through monsoon. Check with your finger rather than following a fixed schedule.
Should I clear fallen avocado leaves?
No. Leave them over the root zone. UC Riverside recommends mulching avocado, and decomposing leaf litter feeds the shallow feeder roots that do most of the tree's work.
What if I have to travel?
Arrange someone to water, especially in summer, and tell us in advance. A long unwatered stretch in hot weather is the most common cause of decline in a rented tree.
Can I fertilise the tree myself?
Ask us first. Container trees do need feeding because nutrients leach out, but timing and quantity matter, and feeding a stressed or newly delivered tree can do harm.
Can I renew my avocado tree rental?
Yes, and most people do. Renewing keeps the same tree in the same position, which is what gets a tree close to the age where it bears fruit.
