About the avocado climate suitability checker
Avocado is generally described as subtropical: it wants warm days, no hard frost, moderate humidity and soil that never stays saturated. In India that usually means the hill regions and the coastal belt work comfortably, the plains work with shade and irrigation, and the coldest and driest extremes are difficult.
A challenging climate rarely means impossible. It means a container you can move, a shaded position during the harshest hours, wind protection during flowering, or accepting a tree grown for foliage rather than a heavy crop.

How to read your result
Suitable
Your conditions fall inside the usual comfortable range. Normal care applies.
Potentially suitable
One or two factors are outside the ideal band but can generally be managed with shade, irrigation, wind protection or container growing.
Challenging
A factor sits well outside what avocado tolerates. Growing is still possible in a controlled way, but expectations about fruit should be modest.
Worked example
Ahmedabad returns 'potentially suitable': winters are comfortably frost-free, but summer maxima and low humidity mean afternoon shade, mulch and reliable irrigation move from optional to essential.
