Recommendations here come only from the site's variety reference, which sticks to widely agreed characteristics. Where a variety is uncertain in Indian conditions, the result says so rather than filling the gap with confidence.

How to read your result

Several varieties usually fit. Availability of grafted stock near you should decide between them.
Flowering type matters if you want fruit
Pairing an A-type with a B-type is the classic way to improve pollination. The results note each variety's type.
Check local availability before planning
Confirm with a nursery that you can buy a healthy grafted plant of that variety before you build a planting plan around it.
Worked example
A terrace grower in a hot, frost-free city wanting fruit for the household is generally pointed towards upright, heat-tolerant, container-friendly options, with the caveat that container trees crop lightly.
